So there can be no more fooling myself. I am indeed sick. Allie I believe is ready to kill me because she can't sleep.

Like her as well, I am also suffering from blogger block. Nothing interesting comes to mind when I sit down at the computer to blog.

    Sunday, September 26

Still nothing to blog about. Except maybe I woke up with a hangover. And my coughing isn't going away. And 26 still seems too old.

    Saturday, September 25

Allie thinks I should blog. Nothing comes to mind though. I'm about to turn 26. That seems too old. There. Now I blogged.

    Tuesday, September 21

People keep staring at me when I wear a suit. Allie says it is because I look good... I can't help but wonder if there is another reason...

Can't say much else, watching Star Wars. I should get a TV and DVD player for my bedroom, I think Allie wants to go to bed.

    Sunday, September 19

    So are lazy Sundays.

    Saturday, September 18

    Lazy Saturdays are important.

The lack of time won't stop me from bemoaning my latest dilemma - to buy an NHL video game (or carefully suggest it for a certain holiday on October 7) or not, and if so, which one. The two choices are EA's perennial NHL 2005 (sequel to NHL 2004, 2003, et al.) or Sega's ESPN NHL 2K5. Sega's version of the best sport on Earth is getting better reviews, and got better reviews last year, but the dynasty/franchise mode in the EA's game is so much deeper. I didn't get NHL 2004 because I usually get them once every two years, but I heard that the franchise mode was awesome - and I really dig franchise modes. But far more pressing is that virtual hockey might be the only way I see the red jersey on the ice this season.

Although I doubt Hooters girls will come to home and serve beer and wings while I watch my virtual team hoist the cup. Stupid reality.

So what can I say? I still feel to busy to substantially blog. Enjoying Buffy the Vampire Slayer though. What's not to like? Slaying good. Sarcasm good. Librarians good. Buffy good.

Have you ever had so much to blog about but couldn't find the time? I am at that point right now. Congratulations to Mike, congratulations to Canada, yay QP, go Allie, go work, go Bob and go home CBC. More to follow. Maybe. I have a BBQ to go to tomorrow night. And I found out that November will actually be the busiest month I have ever had in my natural life.

Well, it has happened. The first computer game that I actually want but also exceeds my basic computer specifications has been released (well, not today, but on Friday). The Sims 2 has requirements that are in theory within my computer's capability but in reality the game likely will not run well for me. Where does that leave me? Well, as Allie could tell you the lobby for a new computer is well underway but technically, I was planning on the lobby ultimately succeeding around the time Microsoft releases its new operating system next year.

    Such is life I guess.

First - back pain sucks. A lot. I wonder how it chose today of all days. Not that today is ultra special, but I still don't like it.

Second - today's picture. I think we might be nearing the end. Well of super high quality pics...

This is a copy of the picture that I have beside my computer at work.

It may be hard to tell, but in this photo I actually had just bit Allie. Hard. She was feeding me a chocolate banana, and I was so nervous, I actually bit into her hand. It hurt a lot apparently, but she recovered over the honeymoon.

In honour of her special day, today's picture is Raven and her best friend, Dakota.

    Happy birthday to you

Skipped yesterday, largely as a result of a new operating system, but also taking the dog for a walk, etc... Another picture:

    First screenshot from Linux!

This is a very special entry... it is the very first post from an operating system that is neither Windows or a Mac OS! I have successfully made my baby 40GB drive run a Linux OS. To be precise, Fedora Core 1. So far, I can honestly say it is making me giddy. But of course, I don't know anywhere near enough to know everything there is to say. Heck, all I've really done is install Firefox, changed my resolution and written this entry.

There is one thing that sucks - the GRUB boot loader doesn't recognize the brand new pretty USB keyboard I have. Of course Fedora does, but since my boot loader doesn't, I can't select Fedora over Windows without a PS/2 keyboard. Which means I have to use Wesley's keyboard to select "Fedora" over "Windows XP" if I want to goof around in Fedora. I will have to think of a better system, because Wes doesn't want to keep his keyboard down here just so I can make a single keystroke when I feel like it.

Is it wrong to fall in love with Chinese Olympic Stadium concepts? Those who have ever asked know I find the Chinese regime horrible, horrible, horrible. I certainly don't think they should be allowed to host the Olympics and would ask that if conditions remain the same in 2008 Canada should boycott the games.

    That said, isn't this gorgeous?

The bandwidth and space won't last forever, but today's picture:

Stomach woes woke me up, but look at the buttons I found! I know they don't mean a lot to the blog, but I sure do think they are spiffy. Check out my new ones on the side.

I imagine I will run out of space on my Shaw account at some point... but until then.

    Today's picture:

Normally I don't like talking about American politics. It just gets me angry, and really, although it is vitally important to me, I don't think there is a lot I can do about it. That said, can you imagine the conversation with Zell Miller and the last person he talked to in the Democratic Party?

Zell: You know, I'm having thoughts, about Kerry and Bush.

Democrat: Interesting Mr. Senator. What the heck kind of name is Zell, anyway?

Zell: You know I don't like Kerry. He flip flops. He seems to just go with the tide. I mean, take a stand. Lead people. It isn't rocket science. I think he would sell out his own party for cheap political gain.

Democrat: I don't know Mr. Senator. John is a strong candidate. And a good American. You know as well as anyone it isn't easy to be a politician nowadays. But I udnerstand. No one likes a sell-out.

Zell: Yup. That is why I'm going to speak at the Republican Convention.

    Democrat: *confused*

Zell: Yeah, I'm tired of that Kerry flip flopping.

Democrat: *still confused, trying to piece together the many layers of hypocracy...*

Strange that this Gmail thing seems to be sort of taking off... people are trading their invites over the internet and whatnot. I feel kind of guilty for taking mine and not really using it.

    Jedi Academy opens in Romania

Too bad Rob said Romania wasn't the nicest country he ever visited. I imagine it would also be difficult to project my jedi training into a career. Certainly not my current career at any rate.

Today's wedding picture... Given that they are all about 250K, there will only be a few more. Collect them all.
