So not a lot is happening... I hate to say I will report when I have something to report but...

I went to Calgary for the weekend. The weather was gorgeous. Sadly we weren't there for very long but... my laptop died... my cat and dog like eachother more and more... Hearts of Iron 2 is still fun, although runs much slower on the desktop...

I'll think of something tomorrow.

Any one know the easiest way to ditch work for a day and go south to Calgary to see their dad for his birthday?

So first of all, Hearts of Iron 2 is a much better game than the first, an improvement from Hearts of Iron. And the HoI2 blog maybe was not such a great idea, as I wanted to play more than write. That said, I may go back and fix it. And yes, I am now done my first game in complete. I am however looking forward to future games, although I hope they won't dominate as much of my life (this one took more than a week of almost all free time).

So, back to my life. I think I will go seduce my wife now.

Electronics Boutique has now earned my wrath. Hearts of Iron 2 is not only two days overdue, but is apparently going to be out on January 10, not January 4 as planned. Six days.

However, in extreme anticipation and anxiety, I have made a blog to cover my exploits as leader of the Soviet Union in my first big game, albeit several days away. Endulge your inner geek, if you dare.

Sad day for Edmonton Hearts of Iron fans, at least those who pre-ordered Hearts of Iron through Electronics Boutique. But someone found some fun pics that were previously unreleased from Revenge of the Sith:

I saw my dog had something attached to her head. This of course is not an uncommon occurance, as Luna gets into everything. I ask her to come closer so I can get the jam or whatever it is out of her fur. I pick it up. It is one of my cat's claws. Embedded in my dog's head. Not everyone is starting the new year well.
