Wednesday, March 30 And death shall have no dominion. Dead men naked they shall be one With the man in the wind and the west moon; When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone, They shall have stars at elbow and foot; Though they go mad they shall be sane, Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again; Though lovers be lost love shall not; And death shall have no dominion. And death shall have no dominion. Under the windings of the sea They lying long shall not die windily; Twisting on racks when sinews give way, Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break; Faith in their hands shall snap in two, And the unicorn evils run them through; Split all ends up they shan't crack; And death shall have no dominion. And death shall have no dominion. No more may gulls cry at their ears Or waves break loud on the seashores; Where blew a flower may a flower no more Lift its head to the blows of the rain; Though they be mad and dead as nails, Heads of the characters hammer through daisies; Break in the sun till the sun breaks down, And death shall have no dominion. - Dylan Thomas posted by Duncan @ 12:10 PM 0 comments Sunday, March 27 I am in Calgary visiting a family member who became very ill last Thursday. In case you were wondering where I went. posted by Duncan @ 9:34 AM 0 comments Monday, March 21 Wow lobby conference takes the life out of you. I'm exhausted. posted by Duncan @ 7:28 PM 0 comments Saturday, March 19 So I caved. I had a juicy double cheeseburger from Wendy's today. And it was good. So very good. Allie caught me fondling hams in Safeway later. posted by Duncan @ 10:49 PM 0 comments So I've obviously been a bad blogging person. And for at least a week, it will get worse, as I have a work conference (in town fortunately). I'm getting very excited for Star Wars, but have discovered I have been invited out of town for work on May 18-20. This doesn't sound like the kind of story that will end perfectly. Regardless, I'm sure Banff will show the movie, and the people who I want to see it with will be willing to see it twice. posted by Duncan @ 9:43 AM 0 comments Monday, March 14 If you haven't seen it yet, the new Episode III trailer is up at starwars.com. Go see it. posted by Duncan @ 8:27 AM 0 comments Thursday, March 10 We's all on the cover of Newsweek Well, I'm on my way, I don't know where I'm goin' I'm on my way, I'm takin' my time, but I don't know where Apparently the Gateway has a stock photo of me. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I suppose there could be a worse photo of me on file with a student newspaper, judging by events south of here. posted by Duncan @ 8:55 PM 0 comments Monday, March 7 Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Allie! Happy birthday to you! posted by Duncan @ 4:22 PM 0 comments Sunday, March 6 As suggested, my photo essay... without much of the essay... On the bus on the way to work, not sure what to expect. Lunch with my boss, Jason, just before the Throne Speech. At a reception immediately following the speech, with the Minister. With Allie at the reception. Jordan, me, Brett and Paul. With Dr. Doug Nelson, chair of the Student Finance Board. With Allie at Earl's following the reception. Describing how big $4.5 billion is. Allie with the Minister at Earl's. Drunk and about to go home. posted by Duncan @ 9:37 PM 0 comments Wednesday, March 2 Speech from the Throne day. I have the camera with me, and if I remember to take pictures, I will try and do a photo essay of my day. posted by Duncan @ 10:39 AM 0 comments © 2003-2010 Duncan Wojtaszek No reproduction whatsoever, in any form, without permission.
