Moments that made Revenge of the Sith amazing:

    • Ewan's portrayal of Obi Wan, simply beatuiful
    • Obi Wan picking up Anakin's lightsaber after their duel
    • The displays in the Jedi fighters look like the displays from Vader's TIE fighter in A New Hope
    • The scope of the tragedy of the fall of Anakin
    • Seeing the Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca
    • Yoda throwing and defeating Clones and Imperial Guards
    • The battle between Grevious and Obi Wan, and Obi Wan smiling after Grevious presents four arms
    • The battle between Yoda and Palpatine
    • Palpatine in general, especially as he interacts with Anakin
    • Anakin killing the Separatist Leadership, using the force to close the doors so they can't escape
    • How well the battle between Dooku and Anakin mirrors Luke and Vader in Return of the Jedi
    • The tragedy of Darth Plagueis
    • Palapatine begging Anakin to save him from Mace, and then the smile when Anakin does
    • Anakin igniting his saber when he realizes Palpatine is the Dark Lord of the Sith, and Palapatine's smile immediately after ward
    • Grevious trying to bow to Palpatine
    • The blockade runner in general
    • C-3PO and R2-D2 being given to Captain Antilles, with instructions to wipe C-3PO's memory
    • Obi Wan walking away from a burning Anakin, leaving Anakin to die in the sand
    • Palpatine walking behind Vader's body in the rain, mirrored with Padme's funeral procession
    • Vader walking to Palpatine and Tarkin watching the Death Star being built

There is more, and I will likely blog again about it, but obviously, I was most impressed. And will likely head off to Silver City again in the near future.

First of all, my apologies for not blogging. Lots of neat things have happened, like Star Wars and Banff. But my cat has attacked again. A neighbour. Next-door. In a bikini. There was apparently blood (I was at work). This does not bode well.

But Star Wars was awesome. Too much fills my mind to blog about this instant, but needless to say I was very satisfied.

    Only one more sleep.

I love The Daily Show. If I had cable, I would certainly have it at the top of my watching list. Alas, I have to live with Bittorrents and downloads of the show. Still good. But the recent bit on blogging was hilarious.

Yes, I am too excited. And I think I have decided, I want jedi robes. The lightsaber would be going too far however. And a safety hazard.

A couple of people have been bugging me to blog, both within my comments and in my real life, but honestly, I'm not sure what to blog about. Some people say they are busy, but honestly, I haven't had the ideal thing to happen to me where I went "Aha! I must blog about this!" Perhaps I am not looking hard enough.

The new Star Wars movie, Revenge of the Sith, is taking up an unhealthy amount of my focus and attention, and I certainly can't just blog about that, can I? What would I say? I suppose I could add only three more sleeps. That is pretty excited.

This is for Brett. Hopefully it will hold you until Duncan blogs again!

Google is down. I can't get over how weird and horrible that is at the same time. It almost feels like it would have been better to kill the computer instead of mocking me with no search engine. What was the name of the search engine I used before Google... you know back in 1999?

    Oh, Allie:

"I love you so much I almost forgot to brood."

I have found a working Xbox!!! Yay! Thank goodness, because I was getting squirrly without one, and kept trying to make the other one work. Now excuse me as I spend an evening with Jade Empire.
