"It warms me to hear that there are MLA's who truly understand and care about the needs of education."
That was from Debbie Cavaliere, the former Edmonton Catholic School District chair describing current PC Health Minister Dave Hancock. After dropping out of the PC nomination race in Edmonton-Meadowlark, she is throwing her hat in as the Liberal nominee in the same riding.Labels: alberta politics

Well there is good reason why Debbie is so fond of Dave and his efforts - she is a member of his party! Or I sopose she will have to write us a letter now rescinding her membership?

Debbie will be crushed by Sherman. It is hilarious that she sought the nomination for 2 parties at the same time in the same riding. What a joke she is.

Debbie Cavaliere IS a joke. How can the liberal voters vote for her without knowing at some point of time she will rejoin her conservative friends on their side of the Legislature?

It would be nice if the current Liberal Advanced Education critic fell within the scope of Debbie's comment. Raj undoubtedly will.

It would be nice if the current Liberal Advanced Education critic actually did his job - but he is as bad at that as he is an MLA. I wonder how the Liberal Party can justify abandoning students and the PSE portfolio so spectacularly?
