Sometimes things are just downright U-G-L-Y. Raven and I found this site today, uglyweddingdresses.com. We laughed our way through it. Some of those dresses are bad. What are people thinking????

One officiant down. Only a whole wedding left to plan.
We have an officiant, the Honourable Murray D. Smith, MLA and Alberta Minister of Energy (and family friend)!
Now all I need to do is find a place, some people come, some grub to feed them, something to wear, something to do afterwards, and a bride. Scratch that. I have a great bride. The best bride.

With this ring...
Here is a picture of my lovely engagement ring.
It is beautiful, and I love it! In the light the diamonds (which are Princess cut) reflect all sorts of rainbow colors within itself like a prism. I have caught myself staring into them on more then one occassion. They are gorgeous, but best of all chosen for me by the love of my life.
I love you Duncan!

Daydreaming of warmer places
Starting into a somewhat typical Prairie winter makes it easy to day dream of warmer tropical places to go for a honeymoon (or right now, for that matter), but a little harder to think of the summer time warmth that will engulph us when the actual ceremony is here. Day dreaming is fun though, and shall continue until a plan is happened upon.
