... is a weekend of decisions. We thought it over and have decided not to have a reception. It just wasn't fitting into our vision of a summer's day wedding. I don't know if we will do anything in it's place or not, but different ideas are floating around in our heads currently.

This weekend Cathy is coming to Edmonton. She is one of my delightful and beautiful Bridesmaids. We are going to go dress shoppping, and what we pick out will set the tone for the style of dress for the entire wedding party. It's exciting isn't it? I am really happy with a summer theme, so I am thinking short summer dresses that can be worn again...

Duncan now has three attendants. Deven Singhal, Quynn Phillips and Rob South will all be standing with us for the ceremony. My friends Dawn and Cathy also - but I am short one and currently not sure how to fill the vacancy. With everyone to consider I am sure you can imagine how it might be difficult. I still haven't figured it out. I want to ask my sister, but I am still waiting to find out if she can attend or not. We shall see.

So obviously I updated this site a bit, but I've ignored a lot of other things. I guess that is what happens when life gets in your way. Regardless, we still have the main components. And I will update the rest of the information here because we really have done some stuff despite me not having crossed off anything in the to do list. We are seriously contemplating not having a reception though, and making the whole thing a lower key affair. Why? well obviously it is less expensive but really we want our wedding to be about us and not the other things.
